Sedona, Arizona is known for its color! The bright blue skies, red rocks and pink jeeps, yes pink. Now, before you think these jeeps are for Barbie and Ken, take a look at their ability to get you out into the desert to better see the all of the red rock beauty that surrounds Sedona.
A hike in Sedona can produce views of multi-colored rock formations, a myriad of succulents and breath-taking views of a forested desert. However, you can only go so far.
I am so happy we booked a Pink Jeep tour. Sure, there are other tours with jeeps. The fact that the jeeps are pink is a (genius) marketing ploy. I get it. But, the company gives a seriously great tour.
From the safe, comfortable jeeps and informative guides to the cold water – the tour is worth it. Here are a few of my favorite photos from our day!
The company is very aware of the trails and does not deviate from them. In this way, their environmental impact is lessened. Furthermore, the guides are great storytellers and teachers! Case in point, you’ll have to go on the tour to learn the story behind this actual white spot on the rocks in Sedona!
